BIOGRAPHY INVENTOR
Hello everyone my name is Richarden Brannov Ngatio Golan,i from class twelve social two and here i Will tell about biography inventor.
The example of biography text is a biography of Thomas Alva Edison.
Thomas Alva Edison was born in Milan, Ohio, on February 11, 1847. During his lifetime, he was known as a successful businessman and inventor of various important objects in human history. He was also the first to apply the principles of mass production to his invention process.
Thomas Alva Edison was the first inventor who was famous for inventing the incandescent light bulb which applied the principles of mass production to each of his invention processes. How did Thomas Alva Edison invent the incandescent light bulb that instantly catapulted his name? It is certainly not through an easy struggle. He had to do the experiment a thousand times until he got the result he wanted.
Even though he didn't go to school, little Edison showed a deep curiosity and always wanted to try. Before reaching school age he had dissected animals, not to torture them, but purely driven by great curiosity.
The incandescent lamp is an invention developed by Thomas Alva Edison. An incandescent lamp can be interpreted as a source of artificial light that can only function (give off light) if it is supplied with electricity. Meanwhile, in the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) an incandescent lamp is a lamp that emits light from a glowing wire inside a light bulb, when it gets an electric current.
Incandescent lamps that are sold in various shops have very diverse shapes and voltages (voltage) also have various types, some measuring 1.25 volts to 300 volts. The bigger the incandescent bulb needs, the brighter the incandescent light will be, and vice versa.
Invention of the Phonograph
1877 may have been the beginning of a golden year for Thomas Alva Edison, because in that year he succeeded in creating one of his greatest and favorite inventions, the phonograph. The phonograph was the first machine capable of recording a sound and playing it back.
Edison's phonograph could convert sound emitted in front of a receiving horn into a source of energy to move a needle on a tin plate. The movement of the needle will make strokes on the lead which is the source of the sound when it is played back with a loudspeaker.
Invention Of The Kinetoscope
Maybe millions to billions of earth's population have watched in theaters. But did you know that the 'ancestor' of the film player device in today's cinemas was first created by Thomas Alva Edison. By Edison, the tool is called Kinetoscope.
Edison first got the inspiration to make a film player from motion picture research from Muybridge. The tool was originally shaped like a phonograph and was equipped with a 'viewfinder' shaped like a microscope.
Invention of Electronic Voting Equipment
It turns out that Thomas Alva Edison also paid attention to the political arena. In fact, Edison already managed an automatic 'voting' tool when he was 22 years old.
This electronic voting tool was used by United States members of parliament in 1868. The tool is able to record voting results more quickly and accurately automatically. Edison created this tool to change the parliamentary voting system which is quite complicated, especially when it comes to voting in its entirety and in rotation.
The way it works is quite easy, this tool is connected to the secretary's desk which will call out the names of the members of the council. Council members just need to press the switch to choose 'Yes' or 'No'. The choice will be automatically recorded in the calculator.
